Lower Tie Bar Install -- HELP -- Marioman
ok so the package arrived today. is the only thing in that mess of a package the bar ? how do I install it?

ok, i found where it goes underneath the car. do i need to jack the car up to get this thing on, i can reach it, but i mean as far as releiving the stress in order for the tie bar to reach.

Hey fbazakos...I don't really know how to install the lower tie bar because I had it installed and then taken down from a speed shop here in the bay area.
I called my speedshop and I asked them if the tie bar came with any bolts..and they told me yes and that they put them in my Comptech header box...WTF??
Anyways...here is the situation, I will go home after work (I'm at work right know shhh...know one knows I'm on the forum here at work
and check out if there are any bolts/screws for the tie bar..If theere are bolts/screws for the tie bar..I will ship them to you on Monday Overnight free.
2)If there are no bolts/screws then the tie bar is the only thing that came with the box.
3)Call Neuspeed and verify that there was screws/bolts with the Tie Bar. If there are bolts/screws and I can't find them at home, then Order them from Neuspeed and I will give you have half of the Tie Bar (I will refund you $35.00)for the inconvenience.
sorry..I didn't mean not to ship everything if there was screws/bolts to the tie bar..I like to be honest. Just let me know what your plan is...

I called my speedshop and I asked them if the tie bar came with any bolts..and they told me yes and that they put them in my Comptech header box...WTF??

I just got off the phone with Neuspeed. (cheap fuckers make you call long distance for tech support, lol) ... no big deal ... anyways, the lady told me that there is an instruction sheet, and 2 bolt flanges of size (m12 by 1.25 by 38mm) something like that. I can buy those from her if you dont have them. I figured out where it goes on the car, but I dont know if i have to have the entire front end off the ground, or what. I'm going out of town tomorrow, thru next wednesday, so I wont get this on until later next week anyways. Let me know if you find those bolts, otherwise I'll order them from neuspeed. Thanks!

I almost herniated a disc laughing when I saw somebody listing the Helm's manual as a mod within their signature. But I'd think since your into doing your own work you should invest in the man.

yeah i know i know, i have a hard time investing money into something that won't directly make my car faster or handle better ... that includes installing costs

The chick I talked to on the phone from Neuspeed faced me installation instructions. It says Neuspeed Front Lower Sub-Frame Tie-Bar for Honda Accord 1998-Up, 4-Cylinder only. Part #3-45.20.32P
Parts List: 1 Polished billet aluminum bar, 2 M12X38 Flange Bolt
Tools Req: 17mm Socket
Raise front of vehicle and support with jack stands, with suspension at full extensions (that answers on question). Never work on a jack supported vehicle (duh!). Remove 17 mm hex bolts on each side of lower sub frame. Install neuspeed bar using supplied bolts. note: the NEUSPEED logo faces forward (that answers the other question). Tighten bolts, and have fun.
Well I'll make a faq w/pics and submit to CHOD THE WACKO ... let me know what the word is with the flanges. they are on "backorder", so let me know ASAP so I can get my order in for them.

Guys, I wish this topic had started a couple of days ago. I went to the Neuspeed headquarters to get my strut bar and could have gotten the instructions and any missing parts and send them to you.
