Lower Mesh Grill Revisited

OK, so maybe it was a little shiny for the Nighthawk Pearl, so we toned it down a bit with primer and charcoal metallic-

PS- The 3/8" plastic snaps on this car are touchy- had to replace 3 already!

Original-


The more subtle version, for you non-shark tale guys-


Now- Anybody done anything with side body moldings, maybe a 2" European in black?

hey there,
i bought a sheet of mesh, and ready to cut and put it up. but i was wondering how did you hold the mesh in place? some ppl use poxy to glue it in place, but that doesnt sound so appealin to me. so... how did you do urs?

Check the original thread, page 2 in the forum- Lower Mesh Grill Install DIY- I used eight home made aluminum right angles 4" long with good 3/4" double stick tape. Be sure to clean the areas in the car with alcohol before you stick em in place (no, beer will not work).

yeah, but where do you tight the mesh to? to hold in up in place?? i took this fake vent thing out, so.. the fog light location is all empty after the fake vent being taken out. if a mesh was to place there, where do you zip tie the mesh with? thanks
