seems to eminate from the right side of the dash. car was in dealer today, they replaced a right side seat track.

Anyone heard this. It seems to be in the 50-75 hz range

might be your intake. do you have an AEM

I dont know exactly what it sounds like obviously, but I had a similiar thing in my car on the passenger side, floor.... it was a leaf or some shit that got sucked in somehow... dealership cleaned it out... kinda funny on my slip it said I should keep the cowl cleaner... i amourall and clean out the cowl like at least a couple times a month...

Since it happens when your AC is on, it's probably your AC compressor when it kicks in.

 

Again I'd say it's normal, my 02 did it, my 03 does it. I had the dealer look at it on my 02 & couldn't find anything wrong. Seems the CLS has ALOT of little quarks that seems to a problem, but aren't.

 

my tl was doing the same thing and then when i got the crank pulley it went away.

This is a new noise. I know this car better than my woman. The car is off. Fan motor only is on. Low frequency resonance varies with RPM , but is seperate noise in different area and different pitch than motor.

My woman even said. "What the hell is that, it sounds like a jet engine starting....."
