Loud squeal
I am getting a loud squeal almost like metal rubbing together, When i turn my steering wheel or hit a bump i can hear it. I have no idea what it might be, anyone have any ideas? I figured it might be ball joints or tie rods, are those covered under warrent? thanks for any help

Anyway, I would check both brake pads (the inside ones since they wear faster) and see if the wear indicator is rubbing on the rotor. That would be the very first thing I would check. Good luck!

I checked brake pads and it's definately not it. If im standing at a stop and i turn the wheel it is a harsh sound, some guy said bal joints he also said possibly the tie rod. I have 95000 on the car now so it is due to have some problems but i didnt think that they would be that severe. I need to get prepped for the stealership!

If a ball joint need greasing, why go to the stealership for this? Doesn't seem like it would be very difficult to do? Besides, I don't know about your dealers, but if I take my car to the dealer, they screw something else up in the process of reparing the original problem, which, by the way, won't be repaird right the first time either. I've seen it a hundred times...
