My check engine light came on this morning. I went by AutoZone and they read my computer. The codes that came up are:

P 0302
P 0303
P 0305
P 0300
P 1399

Can ANYONE please tell me what these codes are? The guy at AutoZone was going too fast so i couldn't see what the thing was acutally reading. I know they are misfires and ignition... but do they tell maybe what cylinders are misfiring or what cylinders have bad ignition coils? Please, any body. Thanks in advance.

First 3 - misfire in cyl. 2, 3, 5.
0300 - random/multiple cylinder misfire.
1399 - ignition or multipe misfire.

Are you boosted or NA?

 

P 0302 = misfire cylinder 2
P 0303= misfire cylinder 3
P 0305= misfire cylinder 5
P 0300= misfire random cylinder
P 1399= temporary random misfire.
Helms says to check fuel psi, plugs, coils, low compression, low octane, bad vtec and valve clearance.

Does it run bad? Can you feel the power loss? Put some good gas in and clear the codes and see what happens. Then maybe change plugs.

 

The Cl-S has Coil packs... you could have a bad coil pack... but I would lean towards that you are having a spark plug problem... pull them and take a look.
