On The Lookout for a 6mt CL / Early Intro
Wassup Zine, I just wanted to get my little intro over with already. Right now I'm on the lookout for a 6-speed CL. I'm Trae and basically have been going crazy over the 6 speed. I'm a mechanical engineering student and always been a fan of a good quality, fun to drive car. I never knew how to drive a manual, until a couple months ago when a friend taught me in her 2002 Honda Accord, I swear it was like a look on a new life lol. I never felt so in control driving. I swear I drive a '07 Honda Accord AT 4 banger and I drive her car more than my own lol. Since then I had a friend get an RSX 6speed and after driving that too, I knew I had to have a manual ASAP. Then I found out about the CL MT and heard bells ringing from the heavens. I'm 19 in college and that young driver in me has been ignited and there's no going back. So I'm selling my car, paying off my auto loan then getting another loan to buy me a CL. I have been on every website imaginable (including this one of course) looking at reviews and opinions on the CL. In my opinion on the CL granted I never drove one, it's an amazing overall car. People question why I would want such an old car, but personally I enjoy the quality, thought process and potential in a car so much, the year means nothing to me. (If I could find a clean manual Acura Legend I still will buy it lol) The CL is rare especially here in Rochester, it has this great appeal to it, its reliable, it's a drivers car and owners in general just seem to love their vehicle. Sorry for the long story, but just wanted to say my intro early and thank you guys for all the info whether good or bad on this legend of a car.

Welcome and good luck. It took me 3 months to find and get one bought. Had to fly to Florida and drive it back to Kansas. That was a lot of fun. You might check the black market posts from back in September. A member named James near Philly had a pretty nice silver one that I was trying to buy. Things didn't work out, but he finally got back with me after I had pulled the trigger on the car I bought.

CLS 6MT Navi
Good luck on your search, your passion for the CLS 6MT is great and well deserved. If I decide to get the also rare ZDX, my 6MT Anthracite will be on the block. just turned 100k miles.
I let a friend drive it for the first time tonight, and she loved it.
Actually very hard to give it up. I flew out of state to get it in 2004. had 7500 miles. still sweet as ever to drive. it's actually my second CLS 6MT. the first was non-Navi and the wrong color. The CL6 is so great, I sold that one (white/parchment) I got the color in/out I wanted and Navi.
Enjoy your dream car.
