looking at trading the tl for cl

hello everyone, i currently own a 2003 tl, and i have always missed my old manual transmission. so i finally found a cl with this transmission.

their asking just under 15k for 03 with 65k on the odometer. no nav. is this a good price?

im pretty informed on the tl, but are there any things i need to look out for in a cl?
any problems?..signs of problems?

is there different rims for the manuals? excuse my ignorance

thanks in advanced.

pretty much the same issues with both models. the price does seem a little high - I would work it down. Oh - CL seatbelt retractors can suck, so check if it actually retracts the belt without help. If it is slow to retract, could be a good point to get him to lower the price on.

That's a good deal. It's not killer but it's within an acceptable price range for an 03 with 65K miles.

You can probably work on the price a little. Check the private sale value on kbb.com.

CLS 6spds are pretty solid, so there's not much to worry about. Some minor things like warped front brakes, but with 65K miles any issues should have been addressed already.

Common problems are the same as the TL. Searching here for 'common issues' or 'common problems' (without the quotes) will turn up a bunch of threads...

I've got 70K on my 6spd, and if I could find something I liked better, would probably let it go for 13K...
