03 CLS 6 speed... I now most modern cars all have locks that engage when you turn the car on (some cars do it when you take it off "park") I noticed the cl doesnt do so. are all cls like this?

also is there any way to relay the radio power with the power window... ie: it'll stay on after you take out the key until someone opens the door... thats hot

 

None of the CLs (or TLs) have the auto lock.

As for the wiring, I guess anything is possible with enough money, but probably wouldn't be worth it.

 

I hate that feature on some cars. In my friends Explorer every time you put the car in drive "slam" all the doors lock. Very annoying.

 

I hate auto lock, luckily my cars never had it. I guess if you have kids or are elderly it's helpful. At least have it defeatable. Leave it to GM to lock people in their cars and they can't get out.

 

it is very easy to hook up, all u need are a few relays and some wiring, i did this on my old car a few years ago, after a few weeks i got annoyed by it and uninstalled it

but seriously im used to the car locking themselves when i find myself in certain neighborhoods i noticed the locks are up... the occassional goon passes by it reminds me to lock that fucker before my white ass gets jacked

 

when i had my viper alarm system installed they put the auto lock feature on, i like it, doesn't annoy me, just the wifey

 

Aftermarket alarms have this feature. My Viper on my Explorer has it. I love it actually. When I had the Viper on my 02 CLS I had the feature too.

 

even my goddman 95 honda civic lx had it!!!!
