A little help with High Beams

I will be installing my new high beams some time this weekend. As soon as the rain stops here long enough!! Just took a look and the passenger side looks real easy. Need tips on the driver side. How do I remove or get the windshield washer fluid tank out of the way???? Does the battery cover need to be taken off as well??? I did a search and came up empty. Any help would be great!!! Thanks in advance.

The windshield washer fluid container slides right out. Just pull up on it and it will come straight out. Very easy.

Well it does slide out, but not THAT easy.... Took me a few mins, and some cuts on my hand. Maybe is because its colder up here

Its not THAT easy...i also got some bruises...I found that unscrewing the lid and pulling it half out makes taking the entire BOTTLE easier to take out, THEN re screwing it while you replace the bulb so it doesn't spill...Then just unscrew it again, and then slip it back in and a few screws and your done! No spillage, and brand new BLUE high beams

I thought the container on the driver's side you referred to as "windshield washer container" is the over flow for the rad?

Anywho...just make sure you also connect the small hose to the nipple on the cap for the "container" when you screw it back on.

Good luck...

Is the Penguin (Chilly Willy?) going to help you at all?
Any word on whether those will melt anything in there? What are the stock high beams rated at?

I was wondering when someone was going to ask about those guys. LOL Yeah that is Chilly Willy!!! You might have noticed the Chilly Willy Post It Note holder just behind my homie Captain Harlock. Actaully I think Harlock will be helping me. He is a little more aggressive and I think he can handle the work easier!!! As far as I know, there is NO problem using these bulbs. There are a few peeps here that have them. They are rated at 60W but they perform liek a 110W bulb. Im not sure what the stock bulb is rated at. As soon as I find out, I will post it. These bulbs are WHITE not YELLOW like the stock bulbs!!!!

i'm thinking of getting a set of those (don't want the blue effect).

let me know how it goes.

i don't htink it'll melt the housing 'cuz those housings are high temp housings already, unlike the roadlamps which some people have had problems with.
