Legal tinting in AZ? Rules/laws there?

yeah, that link is correct. Here's the actual AZ law: http://www.azleg.state.az.us/ars/28/00959-01.htm

JRock: I wouldn't worry too much about a particular brand as long as you get the best the installer has to offer. they usually offer three grades- lowest with a one year warranty and highest grade with lifetime warranty. Get their best and you won't have problems.
I had mine done at Scottsdale Acura. The only other recommendation I can make is for a shop in Mesa and that's a long ways from Peoria/Glendale. I'm sure some of the other AZ guys can chime in here though.

I did mine at The Tint Wizard up in Scottsdale and got 32% on the front 2 windows and 22% on the 2 small rears and back windshield. It's all about how good the installer is. I ended up getting Solargard HP Charcoal, which is an all metal film. I wanted something with a lifetime warranty. I did go around and check and ended up paying $177 for the job, which was one of the cheaper quotes, but not the cheapest. I went to a few dealers and asked them questions about the job...some of them told me that they can't guarantee that it won't wrinkle so I skipped all those guys. I believe the owner (and installer)'s name is Lenny.

Oh yeah, he couldn't tint over the 3rd brakelight, but the job was fairly clean. I may head back up there this next week since I have the week off of work. Wanted to ask him some questions on a couple wrinkles I saw near the bottom of the tint (not a big deal, but if he's willing to redo the job, I may take apart the rear deck so he can tint over the brakelight).
