LED turn signal questions...

So I bought some LED turn signals for my front bulbs, and not only are they doing the "hyper blink" thing, but they're also only lighting up when I have the turn signals on. (and when I put the hazard lights on)

Any ideas of why this could be? Also, anyone have any info on where to get, and how to install, these "load resistors" to stop the hyper blinking?

You can get load resistors that tap right in to the stock wire, as for the bulbs not lighting up, try flipping them around they may be polarized

I had this same problem I ended up just going with a custom setup but it still blinks as if it were out

you need to get load resistors and wire them to the wires going to the bulb

I have an easier fix for you, I put in the switchback LED's. You just need the new flasher unit:

http://www.v-leds.com/BlinkerWarning...-p4481117.html

Problem solved! Its located under the steering wheel on the left side (pretty much under the fuse panel. Just turn the signal on to get down and hear where the clicking is coming from. You'll have to take the case off the new flasher for it to fit into the plug. GL!

i hate the quick blink thing.. considering u cannot even put LEDs in our car without having this stupid resistance problem, I just don't see the opportunity vs cost. or else i would have done this longggg time ago

evan: I had the same problem when I put in my LED switchbacks. The flasher just doesn't know what to do. I'm telling ya, just pick up the new flasher relay, replace the old one with it and you'll be all good!

Was it ever discovered why the bulbs did not stay lit?

Needs new relay, mine did the same thing. They system thinks the bulb is burnt out because it uses such little power. New turn signal relay will fix it.

Did they fit right in without modification?

Hey sorry for the late response, I'm sure you figured out by now that they fit just fine. No issues at all, enjoy!
