FUCK PETA

I'm all about preventing cruelty to animals, but animals are a staple of our lives just like trees, plants and minerals are. If a cow is slaughtered for food, why should the wasted carcass just sit there and rot? use every resource! Hell, that's being economical. This is about as ridiculous as those dumbass stupid fooken "truth" ads...I hate being around cigarette smoke, but those damn commercials with the 1000 deadbodies in front of the office building and the radio commercial with the survey call at 5 am in the morning, (I'd beat the shit out of the little fucker who called me to do a survey at 5 am) make me want to side with the tobacco companies...

This is America. I have the freedom to choose to eat meat, use leather basketballs, wear leather clothing, and use other products made from the remains of animals. If you don't like the fact that I sell, use, buy, or produce a product that uses materials from animals, THEN TOUGH SHIT.

that's all I have to say.

Yea PHUCK PETA, they're pretty hypocritical when they're s'pose to be AGAINST animal cruelty but they support BSL....

For those of you who don't know what that is, it's Breed Specific Legislation or Litigiation whatever, basically it's the right to ban certain breeds (i.e. pitbulls, rottwiellers, just about any breed that "seems" to be threatning) and pretty much make them extinct..... Sorta like ethnic cleansing for animals.....

PHUCK PETA........ PETA

Man i hate this crap. The PETA can lick my left nut. These are the most pathetic people, they are so unhappy with themselves they take it out by caring for the world, and in this case animals. Of course they go as far as the possibly can, and attack the biggest names along their path of economic destruction. I would bet there are less popular orginizations than the NBA that use 10x the amount of leather. This jus proves the whole PETA bs is just that, BS. They do nothing to help anyone.

I thikn im going to start a new club, PETI. People for the ethical treatment of insects. No longer will humans be able to walk on grassy or covered areas where insects roam. We must be equal to all creatures. SAVE THE WHALES.

(I DIDNT GET ANY TONIGHT)

Did it ever occur to anyone that there are more important things than the ethical treatment of animals? How about, oh I don't know, the ethical treatment of people? You know, not every place is like America.

And on a related note, it takes 12 cows to make a Rolls Royce Silver Seraph interior.

I completely agree with most of you that PETA has now become some sort of a joke. I supported PETA when they were campaigning against whaling and the importing of extremely endangered animals like tigers, gorillas, etc... But it seems like the organization has strayed away from the things they were doing in the 70's, 80's, and 90's.. Cmon, complaining to the NCAA that they shouldn't use leather for basketballs???? First of all cattle IS NOT an endangered animal and humans have been using leather for hundreds of thousands of years.. So, what happens to the skin of the cattle when they are processed for meat???? I guess if it was up to PETA the leather should be burned and thrown away..

Whatever, I supported PETA when they stood for things like anti whaling and saving endangered species but I think it's a joke when they complain about basketballs being made out of leather... Hmmmm, maybe that's why BMW uses "leatherette" pleather in their cars!!!!

I think its pretty obvious those truth commercials are intended for the younger population and personally I think the shock value is great for the target audience.....
