So yesterday I go out to my '01 cls and I see some drips of dark fluid right on my gear shifter. I look everywhere to see where it came from and I ended up finding the source to be my rear view mirror. So I searched on here and found a few cases from a few years ago of the same leaky/exploding mirrors, but I want to know if this has happened to anyone else recently and if so, what did you do about it? By the way, if this hasn't happened to you, but it looks like your mirror is leaking behind the glass itself, you better get it checked out asap. That liquid melted a whole clear through my gear shifter right above the R. And I've heard of even worse stories about it melting away seats and other parts of the interior. Any help would be great.
