Leak when it rains!

Alright, this was a horrible problem the other night, it was pouring out and i had a leak.

The water comes in from the Driver's side a-pillar where the plastic ends on the top and its just fabric. It was seeping through and dripping onto my leg!

Anyone else have this problem or know what the problem might be? I took the plastic cover to the pillar off but couldn't trace the problem...

so at the top of the windshield , but yeah more then likely plugged sunroof drains, especially common if you leave the sunroof open, even cracked, if you park under a tree alot and it drops all it's leaves on the car

Also check windshield gasket outside car in that area, look for gaps.

I know what you are talking about because I had the same exact problem. Its what everyone says it is-the drain tube. I was not able to resolve it so nowadays, I park on a slant with the front raised higher than the rear so that water will flow down the back and not affect the front drain.

A question for everyone else-my car is having some weird problem. When I put the car in reverse, the windshield wipers will come on and sweep a couple times and then shut off. Anyone else have this issue? It goes away when in drive...

Sounds like a bad relay, electrical issues are not fun.

the drain tubes go back into the trunk and are behind the jack tools and that little pocket on the other side.

Damn, i just got done clearing the front ones! Some compressed air and then water flowed perfect! I don't know how to get to the rear ones though...shit. I'm pretty sure it was the front one that was clogged. Haven't had any other water issues, thanks guys! Its supposed to pour the next couple days, we'll see how it goes!

they go down the a-pillars, iirc they are inside the pillar though, but i think they come out right in front of the door though, behind the fender, so if you open the door you can see the end of them

yeah proably the best way of fixing it, just blowing it out (might have had to blow it backwards, but sounds like you got it anyways though)

also might be worth it to blow out the rear ones also, better be safe then (or another leak), and iirc they come out behind the rear bumper on the side

Yeah after I blew the air through it i poured some water into the lip under the sunroof (had it opened all the way) and it poured out with no problems!
