Last of the Comptech Headers

Hey guys I know a few of you wanted some. I was able to get my hands on a few sets of Comptech headers for the CL, CL-S 01-03 (03 M/T CL-S too), TL 99-03, TL-S 02-03. As everyone knows these are stainless steel, have perfect fitment, give about 30whp (for the Type S) and they have the CARB # stamped on them (for those of you in CA).

There will be no dibs on these units. Those who send payment will get one; I have 7 units. Also since Comptech is closing doors I would not expect a warranty from them. However, it's kind of a mute point since there are those with Comptech headers on their CL/TL for many years (without a single issue).

$1200 shipped to the continental US. This will be sent via UPS Ground. If paying via Paypal add $20 and send to excelerate@sbcglobal.net and specify what you're ordering and for what car.

Thanks again.

And it sounds like it's the last of 'em... so if you are thinking about getting them, you better do it sooner rather than later...

my CT headers have been on my car for almost five years now. zero problems have been had. though they are a good chunk of change, your money would be well spent. and plus, Josh has great speedy service.

Just FYI, Comptech do not actually make the brakelines. I believe they purchase them from Goodrich. So, you can just get them from some place else.

Guys I emptied my inbox. I will be online later to answer more PM's. The last few days have been nuts. I have been working 15 hour days to get my shop open. My final inspection is next week and I'm hoping to open up Thursday so pictures will follow.

And yes Comptech is expensive but these are the last of the V6 headers and they are untouchable in terms of quality and fitment. And they have the CARB sticker for you CA guys. They do fit the 6 spd. Comptech only made 6 speed headers starting a couple years back b/c the 6 spd headers fit A/T and M/T.

If you want SS brake lines I sell Russell primarily b/c they are cheaper than Goodridge and are of the same quality.

$1200 is entirely too much IMHO... but if someone is foolish enough to pay, more power to you.

That's what they cost. Gotta pay to play. No one said Comptech's products were cheap. But they perform the best and never have quality issues.

yeah, they are overpriced even though the quality is OUTSTANDING. Compaired to the competitor headers, I think a reasonable price for these would be $500-$600.

anyways, if you want one, you better buy it now.... or never

Of course they are priced way above the rest of the market. But no one else in the market has been able to deliver a reliable product.

It appears as if XS power/SSautochrome has a new reliable set but their R&D consisted of buying a set of Comptech headers and copying the design.

So many other companies have offered products, OBX, Megan, etc and they just didn't live up to what they were promising.
