lamborghini style doors on a cl?
what do you guys think? love em? hate em? dont care?
im thinkin about gettin them installed and i wanted the cl community's opinion because there pretty much arent any cl's around here i see like one every 2 months
if you have a pic of your cl with vertical doors post it up so i can see and get a good idea of how it would look. thanks

^ Oh man...I don't think you don't want to do that.
And if you do, you will get totally flamed on the forums!!!
I already know that everybody is going to tell you to get a Civic if you want to "rice" out your CL (Compact Luxury) with lamborghini doors and painted flames.
Good luck with that.

Vertical doors on a car that doesn't come with them NEVER fit correctly and always cause issues. Even when installed by a professional I have yet to see a single one that work fluidly and fit right. Not only will you look like a total looser rolling a $10k car with doors only +$200k cars have but you'll look like an even bigger looser when you attempt to get out of the car and the door jams or doesn't open correctly and is all wobbly and loose. Do it if you want but the only people that won't be laughing you will be the Honda Civic kids with the huge fart-can exhaust and 5ft-tall spoilers.

Acurazine members do not like "Civic-Type" shit.
The CL, TL, RL and all of these other models are sport luxury vehicles.
People want to do modifications that retain the classy, sporty, luxury look...IMO.
If you put them on....then you need to not stop there but get flames and neon everywhere.
Doesn't fit as TheWeez said.

Chill, You asked for opinions. You are getting them. Good or bad.
If you don't like the bad then don't post a question like this.
And yes they look bad on a car like the CLS. The car isn't even a real sporty looking car.
It's your car try them if you want. There has been I think 1 or 2 CLS show cars that had them over the years.

its dudes like you in the cl community that make me want to by another cl and deck it out with lights neons a split hood 5ft wing gamungous exhaust and 180 degree lambo doors drag rims with an evo bodykit just to give you an aneurysm and maybe just maybe you might die and leave the guys that actually give constructive criticism instead of out right scolding
while you are at it you should custom mold an elephant dick like dildo to the front of your car so you can go fuckyourself while you are at it.

I don't think they look bad at all, but I personally wouldn't get them for a couple of reasons. Fitment issues, durability, you may get sick of them, resale value, and unwanted attention.
Don't let these guys get to you....they have nothing better to do then make fun of someone over the internet.
More importantly, do what you want to your car and make it into something you like. I went with red calipers and got a lot of flack, but I like them so thats all that matters to me

my buddy has it on his 350Z and its nothing but trouble because the gas in the shocks run out wayyy to quickly which means you will have to by new shock hinges like every 4 months easily...it looks good on cars that have frameless doors. i would not put it on a CL though...its gettin kinda played out

lol, well if you're just searching for opinions why don't you just create another account and post that you think it would be a great idea. Don't ask for advice if you're only sifting through it for one that agrees with you.
You guy's are giving it to him a little hard I think.
Personally I think it's out of place on our car, but I didn't think that silver car with the lambos looked all that bad. It's your money do what you wish with it, and if you go through with it I hope it works out well for you.

my , I hate them and do in fact think rice when I see them, just like backwards opening trunks. I feel they just look cheap, I know it isnt cheap to get them done properly, but it's just completely unnecessary and very unoriginal.
I dont mean to sound harsh, but just being completely honest, not trying to flame
