Hey guys. I just got my cl and wanted to know if it was normal for the abs to test when I first take off with the car(I hear like a hard humming coming from the dash). Also when I start the car, I sometimes hear a knock at the end of it starting. It's a 2001 cl, type S. Don't know if all of this is normal, hope it is....

 

the ABS is normal. did it on my dads TL and even on my CL. about the banging i don't know.

my intake knocks every once in a while during startup. it didn't fit very well. and i had to mod it to fit=no brace.

 

ABS is normal. You might check the motor mounts regarding that knock. Mine used to shake kinda hard right after it kicked over. Found out it was a bropken motor mount = warranty.

 

Thks, it was the motor mount. Now I have to go and see it they will cover it under warranty.

Yeah, that's the one. Just got 2001 cls. Man!!! What a difference in speed. I just blew away some punk driving a Sunbird GT with skirtkit and all kinds of silly shit on his car. He felt pretty stupid at the next red light. His girl was laughing at him...
