I was on my way home from work this evening, heading north on I-270 (a 12-lane). It was around 8:00pm, and traffic was pretty light (as light as it gets around here).

I passed a 2000-2002 blue BMW 328ci going about 70-75 while I was in the extreme left passing lane. I continued on my way (I usually stay in the left lane unless someone wants to pass--or race).

About a minute later, I see this same BMW coming up behind me very quickly. I moved over to the lane next to me to let him pass.

THEN, I decided to give him a run!

Right as he was passing me (going pretty damn fast), I floored it!

I was doing about 70-75 when he was passing me. I caught up to him by the time I hit 100, and by the time I was at 110, I was pulling on him. I shut down at 120, and looked behind to see his turn signal on, and he pulled into my lane about 10-15 cars lengths behind me.

I got off of I-270 at my exit about 2-3 minutes later, and he continued on his way!

I'm not sure how things would have turned out if he kept going, but he chose not to!

I'm proud of my CL!

It couldn't have been a '01 or '02 328. The 330 was out then.
