Hey, i have a 99 2.3 automatic cl, and i was driving back to school from lunch, and my schoolmate with an A4 infront of me, and he was driving real slow, like 20 miles an hour, after one left turn, he proceeded to drive slow, i knew he was calling me out, so then there was no cars on the oppposite lane, i ripped her up and past by his A4. which was suprisng to me seeing as how he has a V6, he must have been a bad shifter, but i still killed him anyways. after that, he told me he was waiting for me to pass him, but i did it too quick, the only i have in there is an intake, which doesn;t give much power, but some.
I think he was glad that his girlfriend wasn;t in the car with him, i felt bad for him so i didn't tell him that my car was an inline 4, he prolly thought it was a 3.0 or something. But, that was one only of a few victories in my day.

my brother has a TT coupe, and he killed me, man those things are fast. so i didn't think i would be able to take on that A4, but i did, Fortune cookies for me, hehe.

 

tt coupe? fast? i dont know about that one..only fast audi's ive ever heard of are the s, rs, or 1.8t chipped/upgraded turbo series..never heard of a tt being fast..i may be wrong

But though the A4 2.8 is a dog, IMO it still should be able to take an F23A CL auto. My auto 99 Accord F23A4 was a 17 second car stock; the A4 at slowest runs mid 16s and tops out @ around 130mph.

 

oh yeah, in a drag, the a4 would win, i think i was just a better driver, must be an asian thing.
