I'm gonna buy an extended warranty for it....drive it for atleast the next 5 years...then I could save for my next toy (M3, 93 Cobra, Corvette...something very fast) then the CL can serve as a MINT daily driver so the toy can sit.

My goal, thanks to my job is 275,000 miles, or about six years. I'll be exactly halfway there next week, '00 TL-P.

Well, it is already going into "storage" mode. I work from home full time. Just refinaced my home. Bank paid off both my car loans......so I COULD go out and get another car, which I will. Therefore the CLS will be in hiding for quite some time. I have NO plans of getting rid of this car until 7-10 years out........Then we will see what its worth ! There is NO way I would GIVE this car back to a dealership because of the value of the car now or sell it out right just because of the current value market.......

Currently I feel like granny, drive the car "once" a week if I'm lucky......

I have made this statement about every car I have ever owned. To this point, my record is my '01 TLP, which I got rid of at 37k.

I really do like this car enough to keep for a very long time though...

til it explodes, or til i graduate college, whichever comes first.

so unless it explodes, we're looking at my 2001 (purchased in 2002) with ~29k (14 added since i got it in february), going the distance to 2008. 6 years about.
