Called a couple of acura dealerships and one got back to me this morning. Reading Acura. He told me that since they will only get a very limited number of 6speeds that they are seeking to satisfy their local customers first. Production numbers would be close the 6 speed legend. He was pretty cool about it. He said that if he had one sitting on the lot in the Spring then he'd sell it to me. SO, i'm going to have to be a little sneaky because Montgomerville Acura just sucks a sweaty donkey's ass and i won't go there unless i have too.

Don’t know, but I’m sure if you had them write a “MAXIMUM” amount allowed on the order that would give you an “OUT” if you wanted.

never mind i just read you other post. Ouch! Even with 25k for the trade-in i'd still need to pony up like 5k w/o Navi and 7 w/ navi. Ugh, whoa is me, whoa is me.

it does matter to me.as at the time i bought my cls,i wanted it to be auto. that is why i bought my cls.but i am looking for a real maual tans sports car right now at affrodable price.either FR or AWD.i am thinking of bmw E30 M3.or 95~99 eclipse GSX..

I hope I can get 24-25K on my 23500 mile 01 CLS and then just cover the rest with a new loan ... I actually had negative equity going in on my 01 CLS and now it is just less :-)

I am psyched ... can't wait until I get the call to sit down and go through the details of the order ... should be "any time now". They said their order was to be in on 12/18/01 so I think they get the paperwork by this Friday. Will be interesting to see if it has more details (price, color, features, etc.) ... I will let you guys know as soon as I talk to them.

oh, man i'm torn. I'd love to get the 6speed but i need to work out the financing. I still owe about 20k on the car. Obviously I wouldn't take it into the dealer for a trade unless I paid off the balance for it or if i did a private sale. I love my car right now and yeah I get annoyed with the SS but other than that it's ok. The only reason why i really have been gung-ho about the 6speed is because the problems with the tranny( i haven't experienced anything, but it makes me nervous). We'll see. I need to find out what the cost will be and how much the will sell because then i will just wait and buy it.
