Just moved back to PA... Window Tint?

What's the deal with my window tint? I was living in Atlanta and had 35% put on all around. Now I'm back in PA (car has PA tags) and my car needs an inspection. Are they going to remove my front tint?

How do you guys in PA with tint work it?

Anything on the windshield or TWO front side windows is illegal.

The way I think it works is the inspection stations aren’t responsible for checking it anymore.
But if you get pulled over by “the law”, they can ticket you and make you come to the police station later and show that it has been removed.

You should be OK with the 35% you have on there (like I have) as long as you don’t give them another reason to pull you over.

Well, that’s an interesting angle on the LAW, but I wouldn’t believe everything you read there.

Thanks for the advice. I'm back with the parents in the Pocono area while I look for work in Philly. Fiance and I split up down in Atlanta, so I'm back! Guess I should remove the A4 from my sig!

Silver Team, huh! I did go to Valley Forge Elementary & Middle, does that qualify me for something! Now if there are any other Conestoga or PennState grads on here... we need to talk!

Great area, Atlanta ain't got nothin' on Southeastern PA! First thing I did was grab a Wawa Classic Italian!

Heh, you read my mind. Meeting up with some friends in Philly Friday and will definitely be stopping by Pat's! There's a reason why most of us have silver... it's the best color!

I'm enjoying my time off, just clay barred my car last night and am waxing her today.

One question... wasn't there an auto mechanic from MotorWorld Acura in Wilkes Barre that posts here? Was wondering if they do inspection, and if he'd be leniant on the tint! Let me know if anyone knows who I"m talking about!

We don't see any sun in Pennsylvania.
Why would you want any tint?

I don't think he is...us folks out in S.E. PA don't have it nice like you guys (except for today :sqnteek: ).

I grew up in Seattle and I complain about the rain in Pittsburgh...you know that's f-ed up.

PhilR...are you local to Wexford, PA?

There's a bunch of guys from around this area that are pretty into their CL's. Smitty, TypeS4me, Tuboz...anybody else I'm forgetting?

It's gets pretty sunny. Unless you are living in a cave, window tint is always useful.

I mainly got my windows tinted 'cause I prefer the look. For me, it's an added benefit that it blocks out the sun.

Dude, Pittsburgh's way to gloomy. I had some friends from the 'burgh at PSU, and they said it rained more there than it did in State College (I didn't think there was any place on earth that had worse weather than State College... cold rain, all the time!).
