Ugh, that sucks. Did you at least get all his info and have an accident report made?

Hmmm this is definitely what english majors refer to as irony, tacoma in tacoma...

Well if your insurance company is anything like mine (State Farm) they will fight till their last breath to not total the car. In they event they do total the car, they will make sure to give you several thousand less than what it is actually worth.

Why 3G TL? Don't get me wrong, I had one and they are definitely nice, but if so might as well wait for the 4G TL. If that's not an option, definitely CLs6 OR (dare I say?) G35. The new interiors are very nice and compete with Acura unlike the 03-05 interiors IMO.

335>g37 =D

new tl is not bad, but there are other cars out there that also deserve attention.. esp. in that price range...

and the damage seem pretty minor to me...

Sorry about the accident. Might as well look at IS350 if you're looking at TL's. Or wait for 4th gen as said above and then decide...

Yea the damage is nothing too major (estmate about $4,000 ) but i hate worrying about my 3rd tranny. Since warranty is up I don't want to spend a couple more grand fixing it. Depends on how my finance go i might just wait for the 4th gen TL or maybe consider the G37...

The damage looks very minor to me, compared to the damage i had.

You should be glad that you don't live in town call Hummer H1. JK

Certainly wait for the 4th Gen TL if you gonna get 3rd Gen, or G37 or IS350 like the other said. I just hope Acura will surprise us with the 4th Gen TL.

that's $4k of damage? wow.. either it's an expensive shop or there are a lot of things other than the shell that has been damaged.

well update us on what you do =D

are you considering the 335?

$4k looks about right for the amount of damage. my car needed a fender, bumper, 1 headlight, marker lights, and a wheel. by the time my car was done the bill was in the mid $3k range.

ya 4 thousand sounds about right... i got rear ended by a f-150 looked much worse, but pretty much the same things had to be replaced. my total was about 7,500 i think, but i had the quarter panel replaced too... the painting part took up most of my bill. but ya thats an easy fix, definately wont be considered totaled

Are those stock wheels? If so I must say thank you Lexus for continuing the efforts with the new gens to appeal to people less than 50. And yes...you are definitely spoiled, unless you have a decent job. Unless your parents bought it for you, then you are still spoiled.
