My dealership is gonna look at my car for...

-weak braking/vibration in steering wheel braking,
-hesistation with gear shifting (I have an auto 03),
-cracking paint on the hood,
-moonroof rattle.

hope nothing major is wrong, and i hope i am not out of the car for too long. i am getting a loaner (maybe an 04 TL i hope i hope i hope, sure in my dreams)

 

most of hope for TL loaners, but really get chevy's.

 

what do u mean hesistation with gear shifting...my Cl shifts kinda hard, but then again my tranny color is beige.

if i am coasting on the freeway about 40 mph (i drive through a lot of traffic) and i want to slow down or speed up the car will hesistate before anything happens, I have never experienced that with any other car that i have had. It just feels weird

 

well if u hit the gas, the hesistation is called downshifting.

 

God damn it RR32CLs, if you post saturn or hyndai next i am gonna be pissed!

I know that renegade, i might be over-reacting about it but like i said it just doesn't feel like the normal downshift time. I don't know how to explain it any better.

 

good luck w/ the cracking paint on the hood... they'll proly wnat to dick you and say it's just rock chips.

 

and also it's not like flooring it when traffic clears (cause traffic never clears over here) so it's not hard accelleration. It's more like applying light-moderate pressure on the gas pedal...no response...then it goes. I would understand if i were going from coasting around 35-40 mph to WOT then slight hesistation to downshifting

 

I hope they don't dick me around with the paint. I know acura/honda has shitty paint to begin with.

Damn it i hope i get a decent car. I have seen Cerritos Acura give out MDX's and integra's but it remains to be seen what i get tommorow.

 

I called acura of scottsdale and am taking my 99 TL in for hesitation shifting. It has started shifting weird. My brake lights also don't work so it might be electrical...

 

back on topic...all those things you listed have TSB's I believe...cept for the paint...my sunroof still rattles after 3 attempts of fixing...
