Thanks .... ANybody know a good mechanic in Detroit to go to in order to do a good install....Cuz i asked the manager at ROTORA about the squealing being noticed by a lot of the ppl who installed them....he told me that you gotta make sure u clean the calipers very thoroughly cuz of all the deposits from the stock system... and wash the rotors with detergent......I dont think most mechanics will have the patience.....Im in Auburn Hills....anybody trust any tire shops like the discount tire chain....and how much should i look to pay for an install of front and rear rotors and all pads......Thanks for the info...

Got mine installed on Monday (and Axxis ultimates). Braking is definitely more confident and it's nice to brake at highway speed and not have the steering wheel shake.

I did, however, notice a lot more brake dust on the front wheels this morning!

There is a screw holding each rotor on. It can be tough to get off. I had to use an impact driver. Don't let them charge you extra labor if they strip and need to drill the screws out.

Same with mine. I'm hoping that it's because their wearing in. Once broken in, I hope the dust get's less.

Its just rotor's people, if you have a jack and some basic tools they are no more difficult to install than a CAI.

EBC greenstuff pads. Good braking and barely any dust even after a whole week of driving.

rotora rotors

I dont see a whole lot of difference with these rotors and pads....i got ultimates with the slotted rotors........the shaking in the steering wheel has gone away...but has been replaced by a lil squeeking...which seems to be dissapating....but thats about it...same amount of brakin power it seems....I paid for pads and rotors 430 shipped.....and 210 for labor to install...for 2 hrs work quoted at 70 bucks per hour.....the owner of godspeed charged me an extra hour for what i dont know....punk.....

I never owned Axxis. My braking is deffinitly better than stock, but I also own the EBC rotors(front). Theres more initial bite. Plus the hotter they get the better. The best though is the nonexistent brake dust.
