I was driving on the 5 north, and eventually the 405 north from San Diego up to Los Angeles this weekend.

I was watching the road alil' more closely, and when I got to school, I was just so damned happy.

Didn't see another single CL on the whole freeway.

I saw like... 5 BMW 330i/ci's and like, 4 Boxters...

List also included one current generation camry that had a 4 foot aluminum spoiler

In any case. I just love the exclusivity of this car. Maybe it's cuase no one wants them anymore. . Any case. Just makes me happy.

That's why I like this car. I only see a couple of them around where I work, but mine is the only one that has more than tint. And even when it's covered with dirt, it still turns a head or two.

 

I hear you, my white '01 CL-S is all stock with just tint, and even this turns heads, especially when I blow past them!!

 

The CL is great, no question. But it rides a thin line between "Ricer Image" and "Luxury Coupe". What do you guys think?

 

Um, there is absolutely nothing 'ricer' about this car. If anything, it is actually a very understated car...which is probably why it didn't sell so well.

 

Friends that drive entry level BMW's, MB and Lexus are pretty jealous. I hope they bring this coupe back.

Errr... by "Ricer" I mean the RSX. Forgive me, I'm trippin ballz!! The CL rocks!! I don't see myself going back to domestics anytime soon.

 

Oh yeah, having mods really helps enhance the exclusive feeling too.

I always find it funny when I give people a ride and they ask "what kind of car is this?"

And I find it really funny how many 4 cyclinder drivers think they can give the CL a run

 

 

It's a very understated car, and I don't see too many around. But, that's o.k. with me!!
