Jersey Tint

OK i've asked this before, but that was when i wasn't all that serious about getting my windows tinted. I've got my car all set to go for this Friday just have to call and let them know percentages. I have been searching and looking at various cars, i can't decide on how dark to go.

heres what ive narrowed it down to:

35% all around
20% all around
20% rear and back & 35% on front pass

i really think 20% looks awesome all around, but will that stand out more than 35% as far as a cops possibly looking the other way when he sees the illegal front pass tinted?

in case my sig doesn't show up, i have a 2003 cls black on black

thanks in advance...

I have SSM CLS with black interior... got 20% all around and it's DARRRKKK.. here in Atlanta, i don't think cops care just yet.. with black on black, 35% seems better just to stay legal and it'll appear darker than other colors

Damn man you're right down the street. You and I should swap glass. I hate the stuff and am waiting for a hot summer day to get rid of it. Reading your sig, it looks like we have identical cars as well.

i have 35% titanium all around, and 51% covering the entire winshield. it's not too dark and protects the interior from the sun.

cops will not mess with 35%...at least not in Miami...

on a black car though, not sure if i'd go with titanium. 35% smoke would probably look best...and add some tail light tint stealth!!!

In Joisey, 20% on the front windows will get you a nice ticket. Granted so will 35% but it's a little less noticeable.

I went with 20% rear window and back windows and nothing on the front driver's and passenger's window. I think it looks fine and I've never had to worry bout teh po-pos.

If you must have the front driver's and passenger's windows done, go with 35%. Still won't help you with the cops, but it's better than 20%.

I don't have to have the fronts tinted, i figured it wouldn't look right on a 2 door car to just have the rear little windows and the rear tinted and the front clear.

do you have or anyone else have any pics you can host or email me?

I have 35% all around, for over a year now and no problems. I like the believe the consistency with the same percentage all around makes it less noticeable. I would still like to go with 20%, but it isn't worth the tickets.

I'm leaning towards 35% all around for the same reason. Do you have any pics of your car?

In NJ its illegal to have anything on the side windows. When in doubt, pay for inpsection.

I have had 30% all around on for over a year now, and never had any problems. Looks good, and it doesn't attract much attention.
