i know what you mean by the konigs suck. I made my tire dealer buy them back because I claimed suspension resonance and they sold me the wrong offset. The monsoons are no longer on the car. :p :p :p

why do u say that...the fit a v12 into an e class....why not a same sized engine with 2 more camshafts into a Cl. It would be expensive but is most deffinitly possible.

If you're talking about modding the 32A to a 32B -- totally not possible. NSX engine is a 90 degree V6, CL-S/TL-S is 60 degrees.

If you're talking about dropping the 32B into the CL-S .. still very difficult, midengine to front engine and now you're talking about adding a transaxle and dumping the automatic for a sixspeed.

I'd be interested to hear SSMan's thoughts on this one.

To at least make the engine have a closer hp to the NSX. Just bore out the engine to a larger size. Get the double cam headers from a NSX and get the carbon sleaves for the pistons. Get the domed piston heads for a larger compression ratio and titanium piston rods. then a 6 speed manual tranny and thats about it. Might be alot but it is as close to the engine as you can get without using that engine right out of one.

My main thought was that the codes were so close....... that maybe some part swapping ie cams, pistons and sleaves, heads, crank.... would get our compression down and give us parts that can take some real FI. It was just an Idea thats why I asked!?! If I decide I want something that fast anyway..... I'm going to go buy a 93' Cobra build it and fell real HP!!!!!!!!

The NSX engine is a C32B, not a J32B. The two engines have less in common than you think, so it's not a bolt-in affair. However, anything's possible given the time and money...

Possible but would NOT recommend!

one word: WEIGHT

our car has 55%to 63% of its weight in the front of the car...changin the engine to a NSX seems like a great idea but you change the ratio of the weight of the car making the whole car unbalenced. This explanation is to a guy that justs wants a better engine in their cls

this one is to the 30 year old engeeneers that know everything about acura Cl and NSX screw by screw-
IF you have the money and the patience...I am sure there is a way

Not to familer on the part swap..i would suggest doing the MDX parts due to the bigger torque output...look up 3.5L upgrade in the search you will see mroe info

Don't know where you got hooked up with that information... NSX is actually C32A1 the 3.2L dohc vtec. and yes, its totally different in design, you're talking about a 90 deg V6 vs a 60 degree. mid-engine parts going into the front hood of a FWD? don't think so...

but hey, if it works, let me know!

They're right. The NsX is a c32A1. Anything is possible though. Just gotta have the cash.

For anyone that has any ?'s about the sig.
Yes Konig suck... at least the Toxxins do. They bent, flaked, and peeled there way back to the dealer! Should have waited to save the moeny for the OZ Anterras in the first place. As for the NSX parts... I'll be intrested to see if any of the Pistons, Piston sleaves, rods and so on with aftermarket cam and finshings can be used for FI.... Something worth asking about right?
