IS300 gets scared

I'm driving between offices the other night when I see what looks like a civic get on the highway from the on ramp. I thought it was a civic because it had the altezza lights and what looked like a rather large wing mounted on the rear. He is in 3rd lane (far right) and I am in the 1st lane. I continue to do my driving in the left lane, pass a car in the middle lane and then get over. At this point the car sees me and accelerates to catch up to me. This is the time I notice it was an IS300 not a civic... So as he accelerates I to decide to nail it and withen seconds all I see are rather small head lights. After I slow down he catches up to me and stays behind me. The first time wasn't really a *race*, but I could tell he was trying to fuck with me and now he doesn't want to; he just stays behind me. This continues for a few miles and withen one mile of my exit he decides to pull up on my left and trys to play again... I say to myself "too late buddy". Anyway, IS300 owners are funny. Its fun to let them pass you, accelerate, pass them again and do it all over again .

Thats funny....the last time I raced an IS on the highway, the same thing happened, whipped him, and then had him follow me for the next 10 or so minutes.

Oh my god! He speaks!

HE'S ALIVE!

No sir, that deer was drunk as they come. He stumbled right into my car. And he probably weighed at least 3 times what I do.

Yeah its fixed... Looks better than new. Best time now is 12.69 @ 113.57. The A4 has nothing on me . I volunteered to go up there but I don't know if that will happen or not...

This weekend I'm replacing the radiator, installing a boost controller and fuel controller, and not long after that I'm upgrading to TRD motor mounts. After the motor mounts I'm upgrading the brake system to slotted rotors, stainless steel brake lines, and I'm going to rebuilt and paint all of the calipers. Oh yeah and bleed the brakes too duh. And after that I suppose I'll get the car dyno tuned so I can finally put down over 400 at the wheels .

Bah! Highway racing is for sissies.....
J/K......any SENSIBLE stock IS300 owner knows they have no chance against a CL in a straight line race. Now PA backroads are a different story......
Could you take the exit ramp that says 45 doing 65-70 without touching the brake?

My whole thought of the original comment about the IS300 looking like a Civic was, that if you "rice up" any car with cheap ass looking parts, it will look like a cheap ass car. It didn't look like a knock on the design of the IS.....At least that's how I percieved it. If you were going to say the IS300 looks like anything car in that class, I would have to say a Corolla S.

Keep in mind it was around 10pm or so, and my initial view were just clear tail lights and an outline of a wing...
