I've just hooked up my IceLink to the head unit and I can not get it to work. It simply will not change modes to CD 1.

I've checked the connections 10 times
I've rebooting the iPod (has the newest firmware)
I've disconnected the radio and reconnected
I've added the IceLink firmware update to the iPod (doesn't seem to do anything)

One thing I did notice is that the adaptor box (not the icelink unit itself) has an Alpine label on it - this seems different from what is shown in skyeflye's instructions.

Any help would be appreciated.

I had the SAME EXACT problem. I just sent it back.

 

I actually sent four of them back - I don't believe they have anything working for the CL. Here is a thread in the Audio/Video area that talks to an alternate solution:

What version of the Icelink are you using? R2?

Dension told me to wait 30 days as they are releasing a new version for our cars.

I bought the R version from Best Buy and, of course, it didn't fit.

Are you in contact with anyone from Dension?
