Interior LED Swap

Has anyone done an interior LED swap on their CL? If so, what LEDs did you use and did you encounter any problems? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

people have. Many people. You can find it in search.

not sure what you mean by what LEDs did they use. are you talking about color or brand/company? or size?

I remember a common problem is that they go out quite easily. Maybe after a year or so. but seriously, search.

Yes I have, I used neo-wedge T3 bulbs from overseas. They cost a little less then 20$ shipped and they will either last and never go out or they will go out in a month so far ive only had 2 go out. They are slightly brighter then stock and it puts a much better looking light out imo mine light up what I call icy blue, they are supposed to be white but our cars have a stupid green filter which affects light output and output color. Overall I like them but things like the navi need soldering and i can't even get the navi open to expose the bulbs out of fear that something is gonna break. Also the window buttons need to be soldered which is not all too bad i could have done it if I knew how easy it was. The memory seat buttons on the door will also need some custom work because just replacing the one led will only light up the number 1, everything else is extremely dim. Otherwise if you are willing to do the work its worth it, anything beats the dim ugly coffee stain our cars were born with

Yeah, when I said "what LEDs" I meant size and brand/company.

I had blue LEDs in mine. I didn't like them though. They didnt fit the theme of my car.

The 7-9k rpm area still had a stock bulb in it. I only had 5 bulbs, but the cluster used 6.

Would these Oracle LED bulbs work for the interior swap: http://www.automotivelightstore.com/...OD&ProdID=307# I installed these bulbs (Blue, 5 LED, 3 Chip) in my map, door, glove box and license plate. They are extremely bright! I am not swapping the radio and cluster lights since I have a Alpine flip-out and am installing a custom cluster. I am swapping all the other lights (i.e. temp controls/clock, shifter lights, heated seat buttons, window buttons, memory seat buttons, cruise control button, etc.) Would these Oracle LED bulbs work?
