I have my iPOD installed in my cup holder...gets power from the power in the arm rest and connects to my stero with a blitz-safe adapter.

Here is a pic of the dock in my cup holder...

I don't have an iPod, but damn that is hot
I love clean and unobstrusive installs of something really useful. (Can you say K40?)

You do not need a dock, but I wanted the iPOD to hold itself up so that I did not have to worry about mounting it. The screen is very visable while driving and the iPOD functions are easy to use. The great thing about the dock it that the volume level is static and does not disort the sound, so I do not need to screw around with levels on the iPOD. All of the volume control is handled by the head unit!

I will try to take some new pics with the iPOD in the dock...

Did you have to cut wires to make the dock work?

What car do you have? This will only work with Decks that have CD Changer controls, which some of our OEM's don't.
