Installed UR Pulleys... but

They don't feel like much of a big gain (at least seat-of-the-pants) and how the car revs up isn't that much improved. I suppose its 10'ish whp... but is probably the mod that has made the least improvement of all my mods, in my opinion.

Ah well... at least I got a traffic ticket dismissed today!

By the way... there is a HUGE weight difference between the UR's and the stock ones.

maybe having the turbo before has desensitized your butt dyno

Davediego is probably correct about your spoiled butt dyno.

but you are correct, it's not much more noticable than a cai.

Any draw backs that you've noticed?? I think the 10HP would be great depending what RPM ranage you get that in, plus whether or not you loose some HP in other parts...

Okay... I take it back... it DOES make a good difference. I didn't really notice until I did a hard 1st-2nd shift... it spins nearly all of 2nd gear (not to mention that it spins the end of 1st every time now... used to be 2/3 times before).

This damn motor is unbelievable... for such a heavy car... and being NA... its hilariously quick! I can't wait to unbolt the exhaust and track it

I got the complete set for $270... then I paid like $15 for two new belts and $20 bucks to have someone loosen my damn crank pulley. I actually replaced the power-steering and alternator pulleys myself... took all the belts out (had to keep the power-steering one kind of zip-tied cuz you have to remove the motor-mount otherwise!)... drove to a shop and had them remove the crank pulley and put the UR crank pulley on... and then I slapped the belts on. Car can run on the battery for a bit!
