Installed a new battery (SVR 80-12)

This was an EXACT fit for the CL-S. I noticed a slight diff between this one, and the stock one. Although the battery I had was about 2 years old, there was a lot of corrosion around the Pos terminal. The old battery was doing that ever since I bought the car. For $80 shipped I think I got a good deal. Its heavier by about 20lbs then stock, but I'm focusing on audio as of late.

Why not get a motorcycle battery? There was a person using it here, who had good results. It only weighed in at 14 pounds. I think his screen name was Kevin.

UPDATE!!!

OK I had a chance to ride in my car for a while, and all I can say is the BATTERY is the weak link in our system. Im running 2000watts and now with the new battery I get slight dimming when I bump hard. Before the upgrade it was MUCH worse. If any of you are getting dimming issues in your ride, upgrade the battery first.

I've always had good luck with the Sears Gold batteries. They have good warranties and service.
