Installed In-Dash Touchscreen TV, Amp, PS2 & Sub **Pics** - No 56k

OK, took awhile and had the help of a fellow member-Berner.. If anyone has any questions, comments and/or suggestions feel free.

Got a little messy

Sub - Kicker Comp VR12 - Custom box so it fits under the navi player and make sure the spare tire is completely accesible.

Amp- Rockford Fosgate 401s - 2 channel 1200watt

Brain Hidden

Brain Exposed

PS2

In-Dash Touchscreen Clarion Open - I need a custom dash kit so the tv won't cover the Navi.. StreetEffectz wants $200.. YIKES

No, backseat is still good.. The brain goes Far under the seat and the PS2 isn't hardwired, the power inverter is right behind it so it can be Very easily unplugged and taken out and thrwon in the trunk.. But with it in there there is still plenty of leg room..

Yeah, i need to find a good place to stick the ps2 in. So far the best place that i have found is in the rear arm rest. But thats a lot of money to do because you have to cut the leather then have to rethread whatever is left. Difficult

I debated the same thing and went with under the seat and made it easy to take out.. I also debated the middle console of the back seats but didn't feel like chopping anything apart..

I don't get it. You and Remo (kritikadeo) lives in PA right now. Why not just PM him and ask how much his shop did his for?

Damn it Darrin I'm not trying to cover it.. I have called 2 places for a custom kit and they both want $200+ to have one made.. I just can't seem to break myself down to pay that much for a $20 metra dash kit cut in half and the pocket swapped to the top with a little customizing..

Jonesi, sorry about what the shop said. The only way i know to do what i did with the custom kit is through that shop and i know its a bit of money to get it done. If you find a way to do it, get in touch with me cause i would like to see the outcome.

Cool, thanks for your help Kritik...! I just can't justify $200 for a dash kit.. Maybe I'm incorrect but that seems so steep.. I'm going to let a local shop that I use to work at give it a shot.. I know they'll hook me up, it's just a matter if they have the knowledge and expertise to get it done..
