Installed Centric Rotors and OEM pads

Anyone has experience with Centric rotors? They look decent and price is like $50 per rotor. I dont see a point of spending lot of money, they warp anyway

Good rotors dont warp.

I have no experience with Centric rotors though. I like Racing Brake and Powerslot, and alot of people swear by EBCs.

BS, 01-03 CL/TL have rotor wrapping problems because the rotor is too small.

Good rotors will prolong it, but will wrap eventually. I had Brembo blanks and akebano pads, they might have lasted little longer, but still wrapped. I had high hopes for Brembo, but still sh*t.

There is no economical value in getting slotted rotors, they do last more, but they also cost more and you can't resurface them (some people say you can, but good luck finding a place that will do that, I could not -- and certainly do not have time to look for one).

Then go for it. I put 40k hard miles on my Racing Brake rotors with absolutely no warpage.

Ironically people who are slow drivers and come slow to a stop put more heat on the brakes, heat is what wraps them. I am one of those people

Well it sounds like you got it all figured out. Why ask for opinions?

Just because you tried Brembro does not mean shit, most of them are made in China now anyway.

not true at all.. people who drag their brakes cause them to get excessive heat and if you are taking excessively long distances to stop you are dragging your brakes.

the BEST way to come to a stop is to anticipate stopping and let off of the throttle and coast a little and then use the brakes to gently bring the car to a stop.

I just changed my front brakes on my type S for the first time at 81K no warped rotors either (I have never changed them)
