Injen CAI mount point question

So I've had the Injen CAI for about a year now. The mount point near the side wall broke off at the rubber mount. I called up Injen and they were glad to replace it.

Since I did this install so long ago I don't remember if there was a piece that is suppose to go on the other side of the threaded part (see pic). Is that suppose to just thread into my car? Or do I need a nut? It's 30 degrees outside and I'm too damn lazy to get underneath my car in the drive way someone help.

it is supposed to screw to the frame. No nuts is needed.
