injectors fuel rail helms help

injectors fuel rail helms help

during the P&P of my lower intake the fuel rail was removed...in doing so two injectors popped off the rails one on each side...now i have a leak? wondering if there's any trick to reinstalling the injectors? maybe some one could copy and paste what the helms has to say....was going to the track tonight for some new figures but it now depends on how long this takes?


HELP! please!

think i got it...doesnt look to be anything special...just had two pinched "o" rings

If the 'o' ring is destroyed you should replace it. It's a bitch to stick the injector back in
the rail... but you have to install it straight.

ya...no doubt...my tech's on his way now with a new injector the fuel rail side the green ish brown tip where the lower o ring goes is broken about 1/4 of the way off...and the lower and upper o rings were bad...should be good to go here in a few...

You should have just removed the rail with the injectors hanging off them... the
bottom is much easier to remove/install.

Anyways, lesson learned!

thats what i did but one on each side just came off...maybe they were still under pressure?
