my maint reqd light flashes in the car when i turn it on for about 5 seconds is it supposed to do it? or is there something wrong ............ also it was raining hard today and alot of puddles my engine light flashed 4 times and went away is this maybe because my intake got wet ? but the mainy reqd light has been doing it for a couple of days the engine light was just today and thats it the maint reqd light is it just something i never noticed please guys just give me some info

 

the maint required light is a reminder to get u in for service...I'll reset it next time we meet up...no biggie...as far as the engine light...r u sure it wasn't the traction VSA light flashing as your tires spun in the rain...if not then you have to bring it to the dealer to get it checked out...

 

i have the same thing happening w/ my maint reqd light too .. i dont think its anythin to be concerend about, or else it would stay on the whole time .... any1 hav more info on this?

 

pretty soon the maint reqiured light will stay on permanently unless you reset it...its easy...the two buttons on the dash that say reset and select...push them simoultaneously and hold them down...then turn on ignition...when the light goes off...it's done. There you go matt

 

ant the engine light came on today in the rain but it flashed for about 5 seconds i havent seen it since shoyld i worry about it and also my drivers side headlight has condensation build up will the dealer break my balls if i have intake
