Imrc Valve
Imrc Valve
I read a couple old threads that people with sprchargers have disconnected it to prevent knock or something, i have a high boost pulley, should i unplug the imrc ? Will unplugging cause any lose of power? Sometimes at full throttle i hear a fast clicking from the engine any ideas what this could be? My fuel pressure is at 100psi at full throttle and 38 at idle is that good?
Ps keep an eye on the gallery for the next few days to see all my new mods

Sorry guys, total newbie question. What exactly is the IMRC? I couldn't find anything searching here, but Google revealed that it's the Intake Manifold Runner Control. Just trying to understand how it has an effect on knock.

It's something thats only on the Type S and there have been many cases where the actuator breaks and causes you to lose a good amount of power after 4100 rpm. Just a heads up...good thing to check if you ever feel your car isnt performing as well as usual.
