If the sticker in the drivers door frame says 05/00, does that make it a 2000 or 2001 model. I have this thing as a parts car for my TL-S but if im not mistaken the car looks like the 01' not the 00'

 

Can you check the VIN?

 

it was born in May of 2000.
However, it may have sold as a 2001, as cars later in the year are sold as the next year, because Acura is on a 5 year model schedule.

my 2006 was born in the later part of the year, however it has lots of updated parts from the 2007 car.

 

WOW I feel like a moron now, the thing is on my account at the Acura Owners site, its an 01'. Just threw me off seeing it, I thought all cars had to be made in the 8th month ( August) to be considered next years model.... learn something new everyday

 

I thought the cutoff was at least August too!
but your car says otherwise!


the VIN will tell you exactly tho

 

My 2001 sticker says 3/00. The original invoice shows it was sold in April 2000.
