Will this group buy be strictly for Type S dudes. I might be able to scrounge up some Accords for you guys including myself.

Oh and I gotta do the timing belt soon. If I remember correctly don't you have to take off the IM to do this?

No restrictions. I'm sure the more customers the happier they will be.

Before you can do a GB you need an authorized Acurazine Vendor to provide the product.

I already told the guy at Outlaw Engineering to contact Smitty to do the groupbuy. So whenever he does we can go ahead and start the list.

I'd be in for a group buy under $100 HOWEVER....I'm waiting for a real dyno from a real car....no more web-hosted dynos for me since the uni-shit!!!

lets get that first so we can see some real numbers and then many more will come I believe.

Just wondering if anyone knows if there will be any problems in the winters with this mod. Since the motor is already running cooler in the winter will this mod have any negative affects??

the motor will still run the same temp in the winter - just takes longer to heat up. These spacers really seem to only affect the intake air temperature and intake manafold temperature, so your engine will really still run the same.

I'll save what I can. I'm going to do this while doing the timing belt change and that's pricey enought as it is due to labor. Patience is a virtue.

For extremely cold weather applications, you might not want to install the TB spacer. Also, they don't recommend bypassing the TB coolant lines for such applications as well.

i think i'm going to have to agree with Matt. Seems like these guys aren't really interested. After the first email reply of interest they haven't done anything yet. I gave them Smitty's contact info but I think the product is priced at the point where its not going to be any cheaper. Plus alot of members have ordered since Allmotor's test so i don't think they are rushing for this groupbuy.

I was just talking to someone at outlaw and they told me that they will start a group buy for us in the next 1 to 1.5 weeks. Its probably not going to make a big difference in price but it might cover the shipping

I assume they have to 'contribute' to Acurazine to do it, which cuts into the discount more. What about v6p?

I got an e-mail from Outlaw Engineering:

"We have received several requests from AcuraZine members regarding a bulk buy. We are quite open to doing bulk buys. However, we are just finishing up a large Nissan bulk buy that has momentarily depleted our resources and we won't be in position to run another one for about 1-1/2 weeks. Let me get back with you regarding discounts once we get closer to being able to get this going"

So, just be patient guys...

I have a feeling that a group buy wont be starting for some time so I ordered a set about 15mins ago. Hopefully they show up soon and with no duty or brokerage fees!
