Don't waste your time or ruin your mom's car! Furthermore, I raced a greenish color Caddy DTS the other day coming from the club. We raced up new york avenue until we reached the construction zone (stoplight to construction zone is about a 800m distance). The guy could not match speed nor distance, I had atleast 1.5 cars on him and I had a very bad launch w/ vsa on. You are better off racing a cls w/ a Caddy STS. Long story short, DO NOT drive your MOMS car to GO racing ! You won't win against a cls anyway! :P

I've had a DTS as a rental last year. It is an awesome car to cruise in, but not race. It's way too heavy, you will get killed by the CLS, without any probs. Even a non Type S will kill this car.
So, dont ruin your mamas ride....
If you want to see how fast it is, go test drive it...

The DTS weights 4100lbs...
Non Type S model will at least keep up with it....

The car you rented was a Deville not a DTS. Car rental compnaies dont have DTS's for rent only Deville's. A DTS has like 30 more HP.

I've rented the base model, which has the engine from the SLS.
It's 30 hp less, but it gave me a good picture of what this car is capable of....It felt very heavy....Like I said b4 go test drive a CLS
and you'll see what I am talking about..
