The best you can get are Comptechs. Although they are all just really for sound, not performance.

Welcome! There are a couple of exhaust systems for our Cl's, some custom made and some bolton ons. RaviNJCLS suggested Comptechs which is direct fit or Magnaflows but pipes has to be custom made.Good luck

Anyway, Comptech sounds best and would probably be your best bet, in my opinion

all you are going to get is maybe 1-2 hp so unless you want a different sound, don't bother......

After hearing and seeing it for myself, I don't know what it is you guys like about an a/m exhaust for the CL-S. IMHO, I think it has no business on the CL especially if it has round tips or if it's a CL-P. The OEM Type S exhaust has about the best sound and flows just about as well as any aftermarket system. It sounds even better once you put headers on it.

i'm thinking of getting one just because of the ugly stock cans.
and for a more aggressive sound in the high end.

Get some high-temp flat black paint and shoot them with it. You won't even notice them anymore. Thats what I did and I think it made a huge difference. I also sprayed the pipe you could see in the center. It makes it all much more noticable from the rear.

I also kept a can of it around because it would chip/flake off after awhile. After a good under body wash, I would shoot them periodically.

hmm. that never crossed my mind, but that surely would take care of my main concern. hiding those stock cans. do you have pics of this Chris? PM me, please.

I believe they might be painted in this pic but I can't remember.

Does it look different than yours?

I did not paint the tips. I think the angle of the pic makes them look darker than they are.

the way they look here isn't bad. i would be happy with that. but, if they are actually lighter than this, then i don't know if i'll go through w/it.

these are darker than mine. mine are all grey and nasty-looking.

I really like the sound of those magnaflow mufflers that a few of the users have on here. If your going for slightly louder than stock do CT.

Personally, if I remember correctly, they were darker. Especially after I just painted or resprayed them.

I think the same thing but as soon as I posted this https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=185169 I was told I MUST get an a/m exhaust.

Get Some Greddy's!!!!! I LOVE MINE and think they sound the best!!!! I like to say it sounds like a Beefier G35. Its loud enough at WOT, yet soft enough at idle so your car doesnt sound like a '91 civic with a coffee can atatched to the muffler!!! IMO it sounds best around 2000-3500RPM!!!

why not on a CL-P? we get the most gains from a/m exhaust because our stock mufflers don't flow nearly as well as yours
