First, let me say that I'm not into car stereo's enough to do a huge competition system...I'm looking for a little extra bass and the cheapest route to go. So here goes:

I have a Kenwood 8" sub and a 450w amp that came out of my Mazdaspeed Protege. I was wondering how easy it is to add the amp/sub without going into swapping decks and all new wiring. Since our Cl's have a factory amp, is it possible to just reroute those wires to my new amp, rather than the factory Bose one? I'm still looking through the FAQ's...I'm just hoping someone who has done this already can give me some much needed advice...

 

Try opening up a thread in the Audio and Video forum, you'll get more hits there from people who are more experienced with that kind of stuff
