I spend 2 hrs with 802 hp last nite.....

Yep my friend has a TwinTurbo Linginfielter C5 2002 model with 802 dyno proven crank HP and 652 hp at the wheels. It is a 6 speed stick. We finally got together last night for some cruising in Maryland in the Glen Burnie area. It was so cold out that no one was out much so I don't have any street encounters to tell you about but I can tell you this..There was no chance for anyone against this beast. It has run a 9.91@142! At 28 degrees the turbos were happy but traction on cold asphalt even with 13 inch wide rear tires was all but impossible. For kicks we did one blast to 150 and the shifts from 3rd to 4th and 4th to 5th resulted in wheelspin so my buddy had to PEDDLE the damn thing ! It took all of just a few seconds to go from 60 to 145. It was like riding in a jet powered car and using the afterburner for fun times. It is seriously fast and has yet to be beaten on the street. He trolls for Vipers for fun. Best of all it looks stock except he upgraded the wheels and Linginfielter has a small plate on the fender "652 WHP". Hope you guys enjoyed my long story, needless to say when I got in my TL for the ten mile drive home it fealt just alittle flat!

I didn't get a video but if I did on the freeway it was just like when the space ship Enterprize went into warp drive...all the lights become a blur!

Sometimes there's just no substitute for raw neck-snapping, heart-stopping, piss- your-pants, American-made muscle.

Keep going.........that's not even enough to get into a new c6. I'm pretty sure the Lingenfelter package put it at over $100k (or very close to).

I think he meant $40k over the price of the C6.

No, my friends' car had the 346 cu in block (he might have said 364) but it was his stock engine built up as opposed to a 427 being dropped in.

The day before I dropped my car, I drove a Porsche GT2. My car still feels like a boat when I think of that monster.

Blasting through the polls at 142mph. Now thats just not right.

You didn't mention anything about the sound while going WOT or even just cruising around. You said it felt like a jet, i'm thinking it must sound like one too?

Odd as it may sound, the turbos were completely silent. Never heard a thing. The mufflers were quiet too until he hit the gas, and then all hell broke loose as they roared pretty loud. Engine was quiet at all RPM's...I am referring to non-exhaust noise from up front. Most sound in the cabin was tire noise when cruising.
