i was smoke by a stock TL with only larger rims..
..not even type s model
for cry out loud..i was driving my old jeep..
what would some moron raced with a guy in old jeep?
he looked at me and then he smoked me off...
if i was driving my type s cl...
i would catch up that guy..

It happens to me all the time in my Cherokee.
Just this morning some dork in a Solara pulled up next to me, looked at me and sped off. All I could do was shake my head thinking "If I only drove the CLS today". I would own that SLOW-lara.

i don't know whats up w/foo's in their jeep cherokees. I swear that when i'm at a stoplight 6 out of 10 will always try to race me. No matter which car i'm in. I smoked one silly in the s4. Found out later that it was a supercharged v8. Waxed him really bad tho, probably about 6 cars out of the hole and kept pulling on him thereafter. Dude was pissed, said he never lost to someone before. I said "maybe its because they weren't racing you". 
oh btw, i never go around picking on suv's and trucks, but for some reason i've encountered quite a few that wanted to go at it.

I don't know if you smoked one in a supercharged V8, who told you it was supercharged. It isn't an option or even a big thing. There might be 10 supercharged 4.7s out there.
Or he was an idiot, and thought the HO engine meant supercharged, who knows but either way.
Our Jeep did 5.4 to 60 and I raced my buddys S4 all the time and he never pulled on me, let alone beat me till he got his chip.

nope it was supercharged. I could hear the whine and I later got a look under his hood. Those things aren't very fast at all. I don't know about that not fast at all thing. The thing goes to 60 in mid 5s always because of all wheel drive, I think an SUV that weighs almost 5000 pounds and gets to 100mph in under 14 secs is pretty fast.
