I officially own my 03 CLS

and it feels great!! I just received the title yesterday. Car runs just like it did when I bought it back in late 03 (now 92k miles). This car is still amazing to me. I usually get bored of cars, but something keeps me smiling when I walk up to it. Now not having a car payment makes me smile even more.

Just thought I would say this car is forever a great one and so is this website.

Congrats! Now the trick is to act like you still have a payment and bank the money

ha..thanks guys. Ya, I'm the original owner on my 2nd trans (replaced at around 45k).

As soon as I paid it off, my buddy was like, "sweet, what do you wanna buy now?" Uhh, hello? It's paid off, why would I want to buy something and start paying again?

Congrats man... it's really is a great feeling to know that you don't have to make payments every month...

I've been putting $300 a month away for my next car ever since I paid off mine...

with my car as well i am surprised at how good the condition is at 88,000 miles. it runs smoothly, and i personalyl don't think i baby the car (driving wise) in regards to aesthetics and conditioning.

either way, just the nagging feeling of a transmission time bomb is the only off thing lol

Dude, I'm in your boat. Ever since I found out my car does not fall under the trans law suit, I was freaking out. Not knowing when or where it could happen. I just try not to think about it.

I tried that... and it didn't work. That's why I own a 6 speed now! Congrats on the pay-off. Only 70 more months and I'll be there too!
