I need help deciding! Please help!
I plan on buying a CL-S with Navi within the next two weeks. I currently own a silver 98 SLK. I love the silver because of the low upkeep. I am unsure if I want the CL-S in silver because sometimes it looks PURPLE. The only other color I would consider would be black with tan interior, but is the upkeep worth it? Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated.
SILVER OR BLACK?
Does anyone else feel this way about the silver having a purplish tint to it?

Mine is silver also. I once had a 1989 Camaro, for 9 years, that was black and an absolute nightmare to keep looking nice. When it was clean and waxed, it looked awesome. But, when it got a scratch, a paint chip, a door ding, or just plain ole dirty it looked aweful!
Go with the silver if you don't mind that's it's probably the most popular.

Go for the silver. No purple problem. Black looks good, but it is a ass whippin to keep clean. My last car was a black 97 CL. It was dirty 10 minutes after washing it and it had not even left my garage yet. Can't go wrong with silver or white if you like a clean car.

well, i had the same problem, deciding on colors.. i have been more of a silver person with my past cars, BUT in seeing the silver CL-S, it was kind of normal looking (no offense to you silver dudes out there !) The black really turns head since the car does look a bit sharper in black, just like most black cars.. so, if you're really going to take care of your car and its upkeep, i would go with the black. Its sharp, and looks awesome when its cleaned... Just my 2 cents... either way, you're getting a CL-S, so doesn't make that much difference

One vote for BLACK !
and as you can see, the CL wouldn't match the MDX if it was Silver.

I have silver and I love it...I kinda like the purple tinge, but I must say when the black is clean, it is a hot car too! Too tough to call in my opinion...sorry, I'm no help. I will say that the spoiler is a must on this car, in my humble opinion.
