turn the steering wheel clockwise. It should only move about an inch. hold it at that position and turn the key.

Makes zero sense. If the steering wheel lock is on you need to turn the wheel & the key at the same time to unlock it.
Does the key go in & come out ok?

Do you have another key to use? Like the valet key? Maybe there's something wrong with the key.
Time to get a locksmith.

pins in the cylinder might possibly be damaged. did you accidentally put another key in it and try to start it?

he is attempting to hijack.

RTizzo i'd recommend posting in the 1g cl forum - they had a lot of issues with ignition cylinders, etc...and they might be better able to help u diagnose your problem if it's something along those lines. GL

If all 3 keys don't work, then something is wrong with the cylinder.

Your IGN. cylinder is worn out...
-1 put key in ignition
-2 get hammer and tap it from behind and then try
